About Me

Tulip Fields

I have had the privilege and joy of being used in the lives of many people as an influence for good. Growing up in the home of a single mother and living in several parts of our country has greatly broadened my perspective. Having served as a minister for thirty years, I have seen the good, the bad and the ugly that people have in their lives. But through it all, it has been my joy and my privilege to help others find the answers in their own lives that bring ultimate success, happiiness and fulfillment.

I have coached others who have gone and done far more than I will ever be able to do. But that is the joy of coaching: to see people grow and deepen personally while at the same time fulfill their dreams.

I live in Portland, Oregon with my college sweetheart to whom I have been married for over thirty years. Loretta and I enjoy camping, hiking and swing dancing. In addition to being published in scholarly journals, I enjoy writing both adult and children’s fiction books. We have two adult married sons (and two gorgeous daughters-in-law) and the most beautiful, talented, intelligent, musical granddaughter that has ever existed in the annals of time.

In 2003 I completed my doctorate in Leadership Development from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA. I have had the privilege of having a wide variety of teaching experiences, including being a guest speaker on several college campuses.  I have led seminars in a variety of business and not-for-profit environments and twice led leadership training seminars in southern Ukraine. But I suspect that my most rewarding work is still to come.
